Patricia A. Wyatt, RN
Patricia A. Wyatt is the President, CEO, and Administrator of Swope Ridge Geriatric Center of Kansas City. Swope Ridge is one of the largest Medicaid Geriatric centers in Missouri, with 240 Medicare/Medicaid Skilled License beds and 150 dedicated professional staff.
Ms. Wyatt is a Registered Nurse whose Nursing career includes Intensive Cardiac Care Nursing, Health Care Planner, and Mental Health Care Practitioner.
Departing the health care world, Ms. Wyatt spent 19½ years in the corporate world as a Sales Manager at the Westin Crown Center Hotel. Ms. Wyatt served in a variety of positions while at the Westin Hotel, including Director of Sales and Director of Public Relations for this prestigious property.
Ms. Wyatt has served as a volunteer on numerous civic and social organizations, which include the Boards of the Greater Kansas City Heart of America United Way, Center for Management Assistance, and the Kansas City Community Development Corporation, to name a few. She is a past Board member of the American Stroke Foundation and the Missouri Health Care Association.
Ms. Wyatt currently serves on the Research Hospital Board of Trustees; Co-Chair of the Research School of Nursing Board; Visiting Nursing Association. She has been a Primaris Public Board Member (Long Term Care Representative) since 2007; currently serving as Board Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee, Finance, Human Resources and Audit Committee and Compliance Committee.
Ms. Wyatt has also been a long time member of Rotary Club 13 of Kansas City. Ms. Wyatt also held a Presidential Appointment for three years in Washington DC with the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services. (DACOWITS) Visiting Nursings Association & Primaris Board & Committees.
As a seminar leader Ms. Wyatt has conducted numerous seminars for Sales Staff Personnel and Health Care Providers, Topics included: “Extraordinary Customer Services”/ “Communication Enhancement, “ Team Building “and “Challenging Health Care Issues.”
Ms. Wyatt is the mother of four children, and the grandmother to 13 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
